LOCATION & HOURS: The library is in room E-140, in the lower level beneath the Chapel. It is open for self-service at any time the building is open, although the room is generally used as an adult classroom from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
WHO WE SERVE: Any MMC church staff, church member, or affiliate may check out material from the library. In addition, any member of the general public may use the material on site during normal library hours. For more information, refer to the Circulation Policy
OUR COLLECTION: We have books, videos, music, maps, and other material for all ages. The primary focus of the collection is material to support our church’s education efforts, such as Bible commentaries, dictionaries, Christian and especially Methodist history, comparative religion, and popular works on living a Christian life. We also have Christian fiction, which is broadly interpreted as fiction in which God, the church, and/or Christianity is included in a positive manner. Material is chosen to provide information from a broad range of viewpoints and does not necessarily reflect the views of the United Methodist Church or of the Library Committee.. Children's material is chosen both to support our children's curriculum and for general interest to entice children to read.
