MUMC Bible Studies/Discipleship

Mauldin Methodist Discipleship Committee

The Discipleship Committee has a long-term strategy to adopt a philosophy that promotes and pursues spiritual growth for all members. This committee offers a wide-ranging curriculum each year that attempts to offer opportunities to all ages. Our most intensive and challenging study series we sponsor each year is "Disciple I-IV". These studies are designed to develop strong Christian leaders in local churches through in-depth study of scripture. We also offer a "Disciple" study for youth when there is interest. In addition to offering spiritual growth opportunities to the congregation, the committee also wants to encourage and involve members to take lead roles as facilitators. For many, this is one way to experience spiritual growth, and we recognize that our church family is blessed with many talented and committed individuals who do a wonderful job facilitating Bible studies. If someone is being called to lead, we will work to create the opportunity. Many feel the strength of a church is directly related to the depth of personal spiritual growth of its members. The Discipleship Committee wants to ensure those opportunities exist that allow each member to begin or continue their spiritual development and cultivate their personal relationship with Christ. The following is a complete listing of all Bible Study courses being offered:
