Spring Fling
The Outreach Committee sponsors an annual Spring Fling to raise funds for our foreign mission trips. We have kids games and a bounce house as well as a free throw shooting contest for youth. Unlike most events designed to raise funds, we don't charge money to particpate or play in the bounce house. Instead we open our doors for the whole community to come visit our church and let their children play in a safe enviornment. We make our money off donations from those who have been blessed enough to share with us. Many in our community come to enjoy our hospitality.In addition to the kids area we also sell hot dogs and have typically had musical entertainment for the adults. This year we will also be having a bear sponsorship program where you can sponsor a hand crocheted bear for our mission teams to give out to children in other countries. Basically sharing God's love from one child to another through a bear. We would like thank the Prayer Shawl Ministry for helping us with the adopt a bear program.
