Generations Group Home

“Generations has been stopping and preventing child sexual abuse since 1991. We accomplish this by giving Hope, promoting Healing, and creating true Heroes who have overcome the horrible cycle of sexual abuse. Did you know that one 12 year old boy who is traveling down the wrong path in life can negatively affect hundreds of lives during his lifetime? That’s hundreds! We can actually prevent hundreds of other cycles from starting if we successfully redirect that 12 year old boy.

Mauldin United Methodist Church has had various individuals and groups in the church work with Generations Group Home over the last couple of years. In 2010 we have worked toward increasing the participation and awareness of the whole church through members efforts at leading a pine derby race, mission box collections and making them a recipient of our Bids 2Help Kids fundraiser.
