PERU:
“The main desire I had going into Peru was that I wanted God to break my heart for the things that broke His, and He showed me the aches of His heart, and as our time passed in Peru, His heartache became mine, and His rejoice became mine as well. The words of the boys and the bracelets on my wrist will be a reminder of how much they are loved until I return the following year.”

Blessing of the Animals
What a joy the service was for the blessing of our Allicat a few weeks ago. We were able as a family to bring our very sweet cat Alli to this service and ask for God's blessings upon her and the love that she brings to all of our family.
It was really cool that when we began to sing our songs during the service all of the animals became much calmer and there was less barking! It meant alot to celebrate the family member who always shares a kiss, a paw shake, never misses the chance to greet you at the door when you come home and to remember that our wonderful Lord made these animals just for us to love and enjoy.

What a joy it was to go to the first (of many I hope) Blessing of the Animals. I was so impressed at how comfortable the pets were around each other. It was as if they knew what it was all about. I wasn't surprised at the large number of people and pets that were there ... God loves all His creatures and Love just filled MUMC parking lot. He definitely blessed all of us: dogs, cats, rabbit, mouse, and humans alike. Thank you, so much for this very special event.

BREEZE (Youth Annual Conference)
“The sermons had the most impact…just the way she would talk to us….it was just put right there in front of us so that we could understand. When we were worshipping, everyone was so spiritually “into it”. It was amazing. You could just feel God.“
Katie Cumbia
“Everyone there was lifting their hands, crying, absorbing the Holy Spirit. It was electric in the room. It was one of the strongest experiences I have ever felt and it’s definitely been the first time that I have felt totally comfortable just worshipping the LORD with everything and not caring who’s watching and what they’re thinking.”
Caity Tollman
“On Wednesday, we talked about being infected with Jesus. We want to be infected with God and Jesus, and we don’t just want a little bit of Jesus, we want all of Jesus. We want to have a fever….shaking when we’re praising Him.”
Kendall Martin
“We we took Communion the last night we were talking about how before it was like just a piece of bread and some juice, but that night it was actually like we were eating Jesus’ body, and it really sunk in that He died for us… for stuff we do everyday and take for granted.”
Kendall Martin
“I am seriously thinking about getting into youth ministry because of this trip.”
