Mauldin United Methodist Church LIBRARY
OUR MISSION: The Mauldin United Methodist Church Library supports the church’s mission of Touching Lives for Christ by providing resources for disciple making and Christian life enrichment.
LOCATION & HOURS: The library is in room E-140, in the lower level beneath the Chapel. It is open for self-service at any time the building is open, although the room is generally used as an adult classroom from 10:00 – 10:45 a.m. on Sunday mornings.
WHO WE SERVE: Any MUMC church staff, church member, or affiliate may check out material from the library. In addition, any member of the general public may use the material on site during normal library hours. For more information, refer to the Circulation Policy.
OUR COLLECTION: We have books, videos, music, maps, and other material for all ages. The primary focus of the collection is material to support our church’s education efforts, such as Bible commentaries, dictionaries, Christian and especially Methodist history, comparative religion, and popular works on living a Christian life. We also have Christian fiction, which is broadly interpreted as fiction in which God, the church, and/or Christianity is included in a positive manner. Some children’s material is included for general interest and to entice children to use the library.
