Growing in Grace

John 15: 5

"I AM the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing."

Mission Statement:

To connect with others by building relationships with women within the church and the community. To learn by growing in faith through studying and living God's Word. To serve by using our time, embracing our talents, and sharing our gifts to glorify God.

The goals of the mission statement are accomplished through mission opportunities, serving graduation breakfast, sponsoring Feeding the Faithful, guest speakers, luncheons, promoting/teaching Bible studies, spiritual retreats, monthly circle meetings and more!

All Mauldin United Methodist women are invited to join a Circle for Christian fellowship, learning, and service. Find one that fits your schedule and join in.

SPIRITUAL RETREATS

One of These Circles Is for You!

 Grace Circle

Date: 3rd Tue of every month
Time: 07:00 PM
Location: Members' Homes

Grace Circle is the newest formed group of women with age range of 20's to 40's.
Our goal is to be sisters in Christ committed to serving God through our actions, missions, and showing grace to others.  At each meeting we have devotion time, share prayer requests, and plan upcoming mission projects.  We host the churchwide Grace Tea for all ages of women in our church and community.

Martha Circle

Date: 1st Thursday of every month
Time: 07:00PM
Location: Fellowship Hall or Members' Homes

Martha Circle has 14 active members. We meet in homes or in the Son Room.  Our ages range from late 50's to 80's.  The circle was formed in 1976 after the Mary Martha Circle became so large that it needed to break into two groups. Several original members are still active.  This circle was instrumental in bringing the Samaritan's Purse/Operation Christmas Child ministry to MUMC.  The diverse backgrounds of our members make for good times of fun, fellowship, and worship.  We always know the purpose of our meetings: doing God's work by helping others!
